- How much does Sanitas insurance cost in Spain?
- Prices depend on age, plan and copayment option. A young adult can start around €45/month. I calculate real scenarios and send you a personalised quote in under 1 hour.
- Does Sanitas cover pre-existing conditions?
- Standard plans require a medical questionnaire and may exclude specific pre-existing conditions. Sanitas Único (for over 60s) has no questionnaire and does not cover pre-existing conditions.
- Are there waiting periods?
- Emergencies, GP and paediatrics have no waiting period. Complex diagnostics, surgery and childbirth have specific periods (typically 3-10 months). I explain the exact periods for your plan.
- Can I cancel the policy?
- Yes. Sanitas policies are annual and renewable. You can cancel with a written notice at least one month before renewal.
- Does the policy work outside Spain?
- Sanitas Más Salud and Residents include emergency coverage abroad up to 90-day stays, with international emergency assistance.
- Is my quote confidential?
- Yes. Your data is only used to prepare your quote and, if you decide to sign up, to issue the policy. It's not shared with third parties for marketing.
